This basic cake mix from Adam's make yourself a low-carb cake because the mix contains much less carbohydrates than other cake mixes.
Per 100 grams of prepared cake contains this cake mix 1,6 gr carbohydrates.
You use the Adam's cake mix as a basis for your own cakes, you have all the freedom to vary.
The mix is based on coconut flour and whey protein. This makes the prepared cake also a protein rich meal! (21 grams of protein per 100 grams).
With the cake mix you can make a 340 gr cake, you can also use it to make low carb muffins. Just add some cocoa powder and some sweetener (Steviala).
The Adam's Basis Cakemix is also gluten free, soy free and has no added sugar but added fiber. Actually, we are very happy with that.

For a cake base, mix the baking mix with 250 ml of water (add 1 tablespoon of baking oil if necessary). Spread the dough in a cake tin and bake for approx. 25 minutes at 170 °C (circulating air). For muffins/brownies, add 1 tsp cocoa powder and sweeten as required.
