It is now possible to make your own Adam's buns with chia and curcuma that fit in the low-carb diet.
Besides being very low in carbohydrates (1,6 gr per roll) they also contain a lot of protein (up to 30 gr per roll). A very good combination if we say so ourselves.

Besides being low in carbohydrates (1,6 gr per sandwich), they are also high in protein (30 gr per sandwich). A very nice combination we say ourselves. And oh yeah: also 17 gr of fiber per sandwich...

The low-carb chia curcuma buns are easy to make yourself. You knead the mix, then divide the dough into 4 equal balls. Let the dough rise and then put it in the oven.
They will be even more beautiful if you roll them through the bamboo fibers, so you get that nice rustic white layer on top. (Especially if you slice them before they rise)

You can easily make these low-carb sandwiches yourself using the following preparation

Knead the baking mix with 230 ml of lukewarm water. Shape the dough into 4 equal-sized balls (this works best with the Adam's Bamboo fiber as an aid. Wipe excess bamboo fibre from the balls with your hand). Cut the buns lightly at the top and let them rise about 30 minutes in a warm place.
Bake then in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (hot air oven) for about 30 minutes.

This mix is not suitable for the bread machine.

You can store the bread in the bread bin afterwards (NOT in a plastic bag!).

By experiment we have the following storage tip for you:
Once the bread has cooled down you can easily store it for a day or 2 in a clean tea towel.
Roll up the bread in the same tea towel as you used to let the bread rise and store it on your countertop or in the cupboard.
The low carb bread will lose a little of its crispness, but it will stay fresh for a few days.
