If you made the bread (very simple) it contains 0,9 gr of carbohydrates per 100 gr. That is REALLY very little.... It depends a bit on how thick you make a slice, but if you have a 35 gram slice you get 0,3 gr of carbs

This bread mix is ideal for anyone who has to watch their carbs, but still wants to eat some bread.
Normal low carb bread from the baker contains easily 7 grams of carbohydrates per slice, this bread contains 3,6 grams of carbohydrates!

You can easily make the low carb bread by adding some lukewarm water to the bread mix, knead it, let it rise and bake. The structure is somewhat towards cake. The taste is a bit different than real bread, but it certainly tastes good. You can also toast the bread slices afterwards (this also improves the taste).

By the way, did you know you can also make low carb baguettes from this?
Just don't put the dough of the Adam's Bread mix in a cake tin, but put it in 2 strips on a baking sheet with baking paper. Bake for a slightly shorter time.

Tip: add 230 ml warm water to the baking mix, stir with a tablespoon and knead by hand until the dough is a bit sticky, do not add extra water, moisten your hands with water and form a loaf, place on the baking tray and place in the oven.
Let rise for about 45 minutes at 50 ° C and then add a cup of warm water. Then remove the cup from the oven and put the oven at 160 ° C (convection). Bake the bread for about 40 minutes. Clean the used bowl first with warm water and by hand, then only with a sponge, this is done quickly.
Any remaining dough can easily be picked off the sponge.

Preparation

The bread can easily be prepared by hand. Add water and knead for 2 minutes. Then let the bread rise and bake in the oven (45 minutes, small bread rolls 30 minutes). The bread can be baked on a plate or in a form

This mix is not suitable for the bread machine.

* 45 minutes in the oven at 50 degrees in a cake tin so it can rise.
* The baking tin from the oven and let it warm up to 160 degrees. (Meanwhile, the bread can rise some more / rest)
* sprinkle with some water and put it back in the oven
* It will be ready 40 minutes later.

Variation tips:
Put the dough on a baking tray (on baking paper) and get a floor bread.
Optionally, you can make small rolls, then you only have to bake the bread 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
Of course you can also mix olives, hazelnuts or other ingredients through the dough.

You can store the bread in the bread bin afterwards (NOT in a plastic bag!)

By trial and error we have the following storage tips for you:
Once the bread has cooled you can easily store it for a day or 2 in a clean tea towel.
Roll the bread in the same tea towel as you used to let the bread rise and store the bread on your countertop or in the cupboard.
