This MCT oil from Mattisson is made from 100% coconut oil and therefore consists of 99% caprylic acid/C8.
MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglyceride and is a type of fatty acid. Medium-Chain means that the fatty acids have a medium chain. MCT oil gives quick energy and is not stored as fat. Therefore, it is also used by athletes as a supplement. MCT oil has a neutral taste and can be used both cold and hot to replace other oils and fats. Heat it up to 177 degrees Celsius. Any sediment is normal.
