Erythritol is a natural sweetener found naturally in some mushrooms, fruits (including watermelon, grape and pear) and fermented foods. Erythritol is a natural polyol and is an ideal replacement for sugar. It gives a delicious sweet taste (70% of the sweetness of sugar) to smoothies, yoghurt, drinks, ice cream etc. It can be used instead of sugar for tea or coffee but is also very suitable for baking.
